January 27, 2014

Welcome to another beautiful day in Euskirchen, Germany! The weather is once again stunning for P-day. We are so blessed to be here.
Monday we had family home evening with the Jensen family. Bruder Jensen is the newly baptized member of the ward. He invited his good friend Gül to family night. That was so great!! I love being able to share the message that Heavenly Father loves all of his chrildren with people for the first time. It really opens their eyes. Not everyone knows that he has a plan for each and every one of us. I love it!

Oh, and everyone should still be like Bruder Jensen, who is an amazing Member Missionary.
We went to Zone Training and learned a lot about how to work better with the members in the areas. That was fun to learn! Apparently is is not really difficult. We're trying!! The members in this ward are brilliant, so I really do not have any worries about that. It was really good to learn for the future though, in case there are wards who need a little hand.

Our neighbor Jupp is making a ton of progress! He drives us to church when he is able to come (hasn't missed in the last 3 weeks!) and he told us he believes that the Book of Mormon is true. It is difficult, but it is true. How cool is that?! Our neighbor! He's a wonderful neighbor; always doing random acts of service for us Elders. Again, we are so blessed to be here!

We got to give a priesthood blessing to someone's daughter the other day. The members of this family are not members of the church but have seen miracles take place with Priesthood blessings in circumstances of health, so they always like to have the Elders over to give those blessings. After the blessing was given, the whole family felt a great peace and we talked about how that is the Holy Ghost. We are meeting with this family Saturday -- whoop! We will get to find out just why they aren't already members! Maybe they just haven't been asked or something -- who knows? We shall see!

I just love the ward here. We have so much support from the members. Our Ward Mission Leader is a wonderful leader to us and gives us really great insights. It is just so good.

Liebe Grüße,
Elder Jack
